Champion Foxy

I have a few moments to update,  finally recieved the win pictures from the great weekend of shows of Foxy --aka Dashings A Mischief Maker----from the German Pinscher Club of Americas' Nationals Weekend.  Foxy really finished her AKC Championship in style!  She had a Major and one Best of Breed win before she arrived in Pleasanton, CA, then recieved three 5 point majors there.  She was at the biggest shows of the year, with the Nationals on Saturday----there were a reported 88 German Pinschers entered in all the different categories at this show!  Her Grandsire Lukas won the Regional AND National Specialty, two BISS show wins that weekend!   He has since won his 4th Group 1 placement------he has an unequaled win record, my Foxy comes from a royal line!!
          Here are her wins to date;

Major win----- Timberland Valley Dog Show
Best of Breed win------Nisqually Kennel Club
Major win---GPCA Supported Entry @Skyline Dog Fanciers --this was a 5 point major, WB/BOW
2nd Place --12-18month puppy class, GPCA National
Major win---GPCA Supported Entry @ Del Valle Dog Club Sunday, 5 point major, WB/BOW
Major win--NEW CHAMPION  ---- @Del Valle Dog Club Show Monday, 5 point major,
       WB/BOW

Both her sire and dam have also won at GPCA Supported Entries--Wiley Best of Breed, Jan 2010
Dash Winners Bitch August 2010, and Jan 2011.
I am very proud of my dogs!

Nationals Weekend------WOW!!!!!! New Champion!

I sent Foxy, registered name Dashings A Mischief Maker, to the Nationals.  I had to stay home and work, and decided to send her with the pro's.  She had a great time, and came home with all kinds of beautiful ribbons, a blanket, a coat, a tote bag, and most importantly, a new title.............CHAMPION!!!
Foxy is now an AKC Champion, and won a total of three 5 point majors during nationals weekend.  She showed very well for Rowan, and thanks to others there I have a few candid photos, and will post the show win pics when they come in-----quite a big show for a sweet girl that is just barely a year old!  I am proud to say that she is as nice a dog as you can wish for, with beauty, brains, and personality-----what more could a breeder ask for??

Foxy Wins AGAIN!!!!

Foxy won another major,  Winners Bitch and Best of Winners today at the Geman Pinscher Club of America Supported Entry at the Del Valle Dog Club of Livermore show in Pleasanton, California.  This is another huge win for this lovely young girl, (nearly 40 GPs entered today!), as part of the GPCA Nationals weekend.  This should complete her AKC Championship if I have counted the points correctly!  Many thanks to the handlers Luke and Rowan Baggenstos for taking her along as I had to stay home and work.  They say she is having a great time, happy to see everyone, and showing very well.  I will be posting some show wins as the pictures come in,  so check back to see them.  One more show tomorrow, then some tired dogs and handlers return north towards home again.

Foxy Wins another Major

The little beauty Foxy won her second major today at the German Pinscher Supported Entry in California.   She was handled by Rowan Baggenstos, and as you can see from the pictures, they look great in the ring.  Foxy is following in the footsteps of her sire Wiley, Nevars Just Call Me Wild Wiley, RN, CGC, who won Best of Breed at the Dog Fanciers of Oregon Supported Entry in Jan. 2010, and her dam Dash, Immer Treu Midnight Dash of Cinnamon,  won Winners Bitch twice-----at the Mt Rainer Working Dog Show August 2010, and again at the Dog Fanciers of Oregon show Jan. 2011.  These are great dogs to own and love, and they are fine examples of the breed.  We have high hope that Foxy finishes her AKC Championship with another win tomorrow at the 10th Annual German Pinscher National Specialty.

Happy Birthday to the A (is for Anniversary) Litter!

A big Happy One Year Birthday to my A Litter!  Tomorrow is their first birthday, easy for me to remember as it is our wedding anniversary, too.  We are having a big celebration this year-------NOT!  We will both be at work!  Hope all the puppies get extra treats!
I am hoping to post pictures of the puppies if the owners will send me some........ and I will post some new ones of Foxy after she shows again.  If anyone has interest in the natural eared sister, please contact me by email.
It sure is nice that fall has finally arrived with some real rain here, we really needed it.  The dogs don't seem to care one way or the other, still eager to fly out the door to check for field mice, sniff the horses, and TRY to chase the barn cat.  She does not run, so she is no fun.  Running up and down the hay stack it pretty wild though.  Just being outside and running hard is the fun part of course.
I am continuing to work more hours than I want to, but that is the way it is for now.  Guess I should keep buying lottery tickets, huh?
                Take care everyone.

Dash is for sale

It is now official........Dash is for sale.  It is always hard to let the good ones go, but she is really a nice bitch, out of the best German Pinscher so far produced in America.  Of course you can see more pictures and information about Lukas at the website www.RevivalGermanPinschers.com
Her litter mates have done extremely well, her sister was Best Opposite Sex at the German Pinscher National, her litter brother won Best of Breed at the National show last year.  Another brother has achieved his Bronze Grand Championship.
I believe she can produce some more great puppies.  She is an AKC Champion, proven producer of show puppies.  She was easy to breed, had a very easy pregnancy, free whelped, and was an excellent and attentive mother. She will be in season again in the springtime, will give the new owners time to plan a breeding.  If you want to start at the top, this may be the right choice for you.  Please contact me by email if you need more information, and to talk about terms, including price.
I am working a lot right now, so email is best for first contact, then I can call you at your convience.

Life is full!

Hello all--------I have been very busy with my job at Boltbus......but I am still keeping going with the dogs.  My lovely bitch puppy from my litter, Foxy, won Winners' Bitch last Saturday for a couple more points.  She is being shown by my sister when I have to work, very glad she can get out to the show ring, as I must work at this time.  Foxy is really nice, moves beautifully, is very sweet, and smiles like her grandsire, Lukas.  Her sister Sweetie lives back east, still may be shown, so if I have news of that I will let you know.  One of the brothers,Scotch (formerly the show male that went to CA) lives a very nice life in Arizona, his owners posted a pic on FB of him counter surfing........very typical of a German Pinscher!
I am out with the dogs, this lovely weather makes me want to be outside, so we will go for a run.
To my new friend Linda R.........nice blog, lovely art!

Dash is for Sale

I have decided to find a new home for Dash.  She is really a nice bitch, would have some more nice puppies for someone.  She is easy to live with, though lively like all German Pincschers!  I showed her to her American Championship, and have had one litter.  Her daughter that I kept has been shown and has a major towards her championship now.
Her sire is Lukas------he is still winning BOB and group placements most weekends when he is shown.  He is the top winning GP of all time, and has produced many champions.  Dashs' litter brother Max won BISS at the German Pinscher National last year, and her sister Dreamer won BOS there at one year old.  I have not had the time to take her out for obedience, rally or tracking, but I know she could be a great performance dog, too.  Please email me if you have questions about her or her litter.  Thank you.

Enjoying summer

Hello to all, hope you are having a nice summer wherever you are!  We had a rainy June, but now are at our usual mild temperatures.  It is nice to take the dogs out for a good run and have them come home and flop down on the cool grass in the shade with their tongues hanging out!  Their favorite place to get water is the horse trough, the horses don't mind sharing.
I have posted some new pictures of Addy, she is 9 months old now and still here, but she needs a home where she would get more attention.  I have gone back to work full time, and she and her mother are both going to new homes when I find them.  Any interest can be directed my way at my email......
 vwisner@juno.com      Thank you.

Foxy Wins a Major

Foxy wins a Major!!  Foxy is the bitch puppy I kept from the litter of last October.  She is very typey for the breed and moves like a dream.  When you breed a litter, the object is to improve over the parents, and she has done this nicely.  She looks a lot like her mother Dash did at this age, and has her dad Wileys' mellow outlook.  I did not get to show her myself as I had to work, but my sister Michelle took her in for Winners Bitch at the Timberland Valley Dog Fanciers Show.  I am hoping to get her to some more shows this summer, but my new job works every weekend, so we shall see.  Her sister Addy is still for sale to a pet home, and I am also going to sell the mother, Dash.  She has been a nice show dog, and has potential to be bred to a nice dog again, but I will not have time to do any more litters for a while.  Please contact me via email if you have any interest.  Thanks!

Happy spring to all!  We have enjoyed a nice run of sunshine here, it is now over, back to rain and gray skies.  But the birds are still singing and it is still warm.
I have reposted my ad to sell the last puppy, Addy.  She is very sweet and eager to please, really would make such a nice pet for someone.  If you know of anyone looking for a great companion, let me know.  I have begun a new job that will have to take priority over most everything for the next few weeks--I am going to driver for Boltbus--check it out online if you don't know what it is........Thanks.

Foxys' first show

HELLO!!  It was a truly beautiful day here in the Pacific Northwest........80 degrees!  We are all enjoying the spring weather. Good report from Nubs' owners that he is a happy dog, learning lots all the time.  He has learned to close the door after he comes in!  They are really enjoying him.
I took Foxy to her first shows over the weekend in Elma, WA.   We went Reserve Winners Bitch both days, which means second place.  I am very happy with that, and with the way she showed for me.  We had two kind judges that were gentle with the puppies, too.  Judys' year old red girl won Winners Bitch for the major both days----it was a nice entry.  We had interest from the public as always, and it was nice to have all cropped/docked, docked tail with natural ears, and all natural, too.  A nice variety of GPs for the public and judges.  If you get a chance, look up the ads and articles in the recently published Show Sight magazine.  There are good articles and ads for German Pinschers.
I have started a new job, so I will post more when I can......

Hello all------ Spring has really come again!  The swallows are home, a SURE sign that we are done with winter weather.  The puppies are over six months old now, hard to believe.  I will post pictures of  them as they come in from the new owners.
Foxy and I will be in the show ring next weekend in Elma, Wa.  It will be good to see our dog show friends there.  We have been practicing and going to class, but she is such a puppy still.  She is very sweet and eager to please though, so not hard to train.  She loves her lap time, too.  So do Dash and Wiley----if only I could have three on my lap at once---but two is the limit.

Spring is here

What a beautiful morning in the Pacific Northwest!  The sun is shining, birds are singing, truly a pretty spring day.  It is very green here, and as you might guess, a lot of that is GRASS........so get the mower out and clean up those yards!  At least those of us that love our dogs have a purpose other than just a nicely mown space--we provide a play area for dogs, too.   There are a few spots in mine that have had puppy exploration-----namely holes.  I am glad to give up some pretty for all the laughs I had when we had so many puppies romping around this winter.  Now that there are only the two, there is still a lot of playing, but naps, too.  Wishing all a Happy Easter, too.

Welcome Spring

Hello------ Here's hoping that the start of spring is a little nicer wherever you are than it is here!  We have had gray, rainy days, with a little snow and sleet mixed in.  Although we had a few beautiful days, we are back to a rainy stretch again.
Dog shows are really going to start up again in June, until then it is let the puppy grow up, get in a little training and keep posting those ears!  She will have a really beautiful crop when they are all the way up.  Until they are, I won't post any more pictures of her.
Keep some sunshine in your heart........there isn't any outside for now!!!

New Pictures of our B/T boy, Nubs

Nubs is the name given to the handsome black puppy born in this litter.  He has very happy owners, and he looks like a very happy dog!  I think he will look a lot like his sire Wiley when he grows up.  These pics were provided by his owners, of him at four months.
Enjoy the sunshine we are supposed to have in the coming days-----it sure beats the dusting of snow and icy roads we had this morning.
         Think spring!

More Puppies Sold

Hello all-- I am happy to report that two more of my puppies have been sold.  The pet boy and his beautiful sister with cropped ears are going to the same home on the east coast.  She is headed to the show ring, he will be a performance dog.  It is so wonderful to match puppies to great owners!  I am very glad to send them to folks that will help them reach their potential.  I am looking forward to getting back in the show ring myself with my little girl later this summer.

Glad to announce the results arrived for Dashs' testing.  She is clear CERF, Heart, and Hips Good.  Had to wait for those tests as the litter came about the time testing was due.........you know how it is with busy moms!  So now both parents are tested and good to go.  I am posting a couple new pictures of the girls out playing in the back yard, yesterday was a bright sunny and warm day here.

Are You Ready for a GP?

Are you ready for a GP?
The German Pinscher is muscular and agile, powerful yet graceful. A medium-sized dog with an elegant appearance, he's admired as much for his beauty as for his intelligence. He's a working dog and guard dog, and a devoted and loving family dog.
The German Pinscher has the energy and drive of all working breeds, but he's also an outstanding companion. He loves being with his family and will meld himself into every facet of your life.
This is such a great discription of these dogs!
